circa 1570 - 1590.


The mitred moulded plank lid above a frieze rail of contrasting arabesque inlays divided by cork tablets, retaining original twin elaborate lock escutcheons and interior locks.

With triple scroll arcaded panels centred by renaissance urn and flower inlaid panels, all divided by applied fruitwood split balusters.
Both ends with deep chevron and cork frieze rails above plain panels divided by split baluster uprights.
