Small Charles II Oak wardrobe or clothes press, Lancashire, circa 1670 - 1680.

The panelled cabinet with lunette carved top frieze and single cupboard door with original iron butterfly hinges, flanked by deep moulded framed vertical panels above a twin horizontal panel lower section, the ends being similarly moulded and panelled. The full hanging height interior retains original wooden hanging pegs.

With the addition of a simple horizontal rail (if required) the wardrobe can continue to be used for clothes.
