William and Mary Oak and Ash Joined Stool, Welsh, circa 1690

Having a richly coloured moulded Ash top above lightly moulded frieze rails, joined by inverted baluster and ball turned legs, with bold stretchers. The base having a rich dark red colour and high surface patination throughout.
